Veil Cosmetics founder and CEO, Sébastien Tardif stepped down from the brand to start other artistic projects in the beauty industry.

The brand launched in 2012 creating “weightless” makeup products, its Complexion Fix concealer treatment hybrid was the first product released. Today, Veil Cosmetics offers eight complexion-focused, multitasking products with a strong following among high profile clientele including models and celebrities.

While tenured, Tardif expanded the company’s mission, creative vision, influencer partnerships and product lineup. Under his leadership, Veil Cosmetics launched at major department stores in nine countries around the world. The brand can be found in Henri Bendel in New York City, NY, Beauty and the Boutique in the UK, Holt Renfrew Ogilvy in Montreal, Canada, among others.

“Creating Veil Cosmetics from scratch and watching it thrive for the last twelve years is my proudest achievement,” said Tardif. “I am very excited to see how I will be able to use my creativity and business sense next, whether with other brands or another self-made project.”

Tardif looks to help other indie beauty brands reach new levels of success by sharing his hands-on experience and knowledge. He aims to assist growing beauty brands with product development, user-generated content (UGC), marketing strategies and collaborative efforts.
